• Support completion of an updated Storm Drain Master Plan and leverage funding from the Community Flood & Storm Protection Initiative (https://www.cityofsanmateo.org/2288/Community-Flood-Storm-Protection-Initiat)to apply for matching funds to complete priority safety projects ASAP • Co-create a new Sea Level Rise Adaptation Plan with Council, city staff and community, to inform how existing infrastructure and future development can become more resilient and sustainable • Add resiliency resources to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center and pursue opportunities like the Beresford solar carport to increase energy efficiency and resiliency citywide

• Complete and implement the city’s Complete Streets Plan (https://www.cityofsanmateo.org/4701/Complete-Streets-Plan)for transportation infrastructure which will increase bike/pedestrian and transit access for all while reducing strain on our parking lots and highways • Support Connect Bay Area,(https://mtc.ca.gov/sites/default/files/documents/2026-03/Fact-Sheet_Connect-Bay-Area-Act-SB63_FINAL.pdf?cb=cc46f8a3) a regional transportation ballot measure that would provide $1 billion in new funding that preserves and improves mass transit in San Mateo • Continue to advocate for a safe bike/ped network as a Council Priority and implement the allotted $500K for quick-build bike/ped projects aimed at quick fixes that can help today

• Advance the Economic Development Plan and an upcoming Downtown Plan Update that allow the city to shape a diverse and resilient economy that supports small businesses and allows San Mateans to shop locally • Implement a city Fiscal Sustainability plan that pursues savings, grants and revenue measures to address the structural budget deficit, preserve existing services and maintain investment in future infrastructure
